Websites and landing pages for reputation-built businesses

Your business makes sense to you. Let’s make it make sense to your prospects.

Your website or landing page should help them understand the business, trust the fit, and know exactly how to reach out.

20 years as a creative director and conversion copywriter for big brands, brought down to practical small-business website work.

What 20 years actually changes

I know where people hesitate, and what helps them keep going.

A website can look fine and still lose people because the order is wrong, the proof is thin, or the ask shows up too late.

  • What is

A person lands on the page with partial trust, a few doubts, and not much patience.

  • What could be

The page explains the business in the right order, answers the quiet doubts, and makes the next step feel natural.

  • How I get it there

Strategy, copy, proof, design, and AI-assisted production, directed by human standards for what good means.

Unclear site? Someone checks you out and still has to piece together what you do.
Old site? The business has grown, but the online story still sounds like the old version.
Need leads? A focused page can turn interest into a call, form, booking, or quote request.
Ways to work together

Small-shop service. Serious website thinking.

Most clients don’t need a huge web project. They need the path to feel obvious: someone checks them out, understands the fit, and knows exactly how to reach out.

What I build

Clear service pages, quote-request pages, booking pages, event or workshop pages, lead magnet pages, and simple campaign pages. The goal is usually a form, call, email, booking link, or consultation request.

Hosting check: If you only need a simple landing page or two, you may be overpaying for hosting. I can look at what you’re using now and, when it makes sense, move you to a free professional hosting setup like Cloudflare Pages.

What I don’t build: ecommerce stores, customer portals, complex web apps, inventory systems, or anything that needs a heavy technical backend.

Site portfolio

A few sites with different jobs to do.

One is my site for my big-gig work. The other two are for my wife’s businesses, because apparently I’m also the in-house web department. Different audiences, same job: make the offer clear, credible, and easy to act on.

Portfolio site

EricFGould.com

My creative director site, built around decision-stage work, proof, leadership, and the story behind the portfolio.

How I look at your site

Before I touch the design, I look for the real reason people stall.

I use AI where it helps: drafts, options, layouts, speed. But the judgment stays human. The point isn’t to make an AI-looking website faster. It’s to make your website feel more like you, faster.

I look at the full journey.

Did they come from search, word of mouth, a business card, an email, a letter, or social? The site shouldn’t just repeat the story. It should continue it.

  • Clarity

Can someone quickly tell what you do?

  • Story

Does the site explain why it matters?

  • Trust

Is the proof where people need it?

  • Conversion

    Is the next step obvious?

  • Mobile

Does it work on a phone?

  • Voice

Does it sound like your business?

Tell me what you have. I’ll tell you what I see.

If your site is outdated, confusing, unfinished, or missing altogether, that’s enough. I’ll look at where trust is getting lost and what would help the next person feel ready to reach out.
